The Surf House Caparica is ideal for a surfing holiday in which you want to combine sport, lifestyle and the Portuguese attitude to life! There are numerous surf spots just 150 m away. The many moles ensure a large selection of waves, so that there are always a few nice peaks to be found.

At our bar you can have a nightcap in the evening and if you feel like partying, you can reach Lisbon in about 20 minutes by car or in half an hour by bus and ferry. For optimal relaxation, we set up a rich, healthy breakfast buffet for you every morning, which leaves nothing to be desired. Relax your body and mind with yoga with a view of the sea. So that you can discover the area stress-free, we are happy to organize transfers for you to Lisbon.

Caparica and the coast:
The Surf House is located in a quiet neighborhood in the laid-back surfing town of Caparica. The numerous cafés, restaurants and bars offer traditional Portuguese cuisine. Market halls, shops and supermarkets are also easily accessible on foot. You can also sit comfortably with the other guests in our in-house outdoor bar.

The endless coast of Caparica offers 13 km of sandy beaches and plenty of surf spots. The long promenade is only 150 meters away from the Surf House and, with its many moles, provides a variety of beautiful waves. If you want to see Lisbon, you can go by bus and ferry, or by car. In just 20 minutes you are in the city of the 7 hills, which impresses with its tiled historic buildings, numerous sights, trendy restaurants, bars and vibrant nightlife.

Leblon Beach bar - Cocktails and sound
In the stylish beach barLeblon on the beach of São João you can chill with lounge music, enjoy snacks, drinks and the view of the Atlantic. The beach bar is also ideal for refreshments after the surf course. 

Travel to Bélem
With the ferry in Trafaria you can cross the Tejo River and land directly in Lisbon in the historic Bélem district. There you can discover the famous Pasteis de Bélem (typical pastries), the monastery and the Torre de Bélem.

Caparica flea market
Souvenirs, curios and vintage gems! Every Sunday from 9 a.m. the local Portuguese offer lots of wonderful stuff at the flea market on the beach. Here you will find original souvenirs and one or the other sailor's treasure!
