Loredo is located right on the stunning Bay of Santander – home to one of the most beautiful surf beaches on Spain’s northern coast. From the camp, you’re just minutes from the water, can watch the sunset over the Santander skyline or cruise to the next café on your skateboard.
Loredo itself is a laid-back surf hotspot with authentic Spanish charm: small restaurants, local tapas bars and a pump track right next to the camp – all surrounded by green hills and the blue Atlantic Ocean.
It’s also easy to get around: the surf town of Somo is just a short walk away. And if you’re in the mood for culture, shopping or nightlife, the ferry takes you straight to the centre of Santander in just a few minutes. Surf, city and nature – all easily combined!

Café & Chilling at the Camp
The surf house has its own small bar serving cold drinks and snacks – perfect for a sundowner in the garden. You can also add a shared outdoor dinner 3x per week – freshly prepared, delicious & a great way to socialise.
Skating & Longboarding
Loredo’s pump track is right next to the camp. Grab one of our skateboards or longboards and cruise a few laps. In the neighbouring town, you can show off your skills at the skatepark with ocean views or simply hang out and watch.
Restaurants & Bars in Loredo & Somo
Craving pizza, tapas or a cold beer? Loredo and neighbouring Somo have plenty of small bars & restaurants – all within walking distance. Our tip: Bar Las Quebrantas for cocktails with a view or Surf Café Loredo for burgers and great music.
City Trip to Santander & Boat Party
A must-do: Take the ferry straight to the heart of Santander and explore the old town, tapas bars and shops. Another highlight is the boat party in the Bay of Santander.

Ideal for couples or two friends who want to share a cosy room. The double room has its own private bathroom and comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay:

These rooms are designed for groups of friends and can only be booked exclusively. The 4-person rooms feature one double bed and one bunk bed. The 3-person rooms have one double bed with a single bunk bed above.
In the 6-bed shared room with private bathroom, you'll share the room with up to 5 other surf-loving guests – ideal if you're travelling solo or want to meet new people. The cosy bunk beds come with pillows, bed linen, blankets & towels – so there's no need to bring your own!

Then our bungalow for 5 people is the perfect choice. With a terrace, living room with kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and even a sofa bed in the living area, there’s plenty of space for everyone.
Whether it’s breakfast in the garden or a cosy evening on the sofa – here you can enjoy maximum freedom and that true “home away from home” feeling right in the heart of Loredo.
The bay of Loredo & Somo is a real highlight on Spain’s northern coast – not only for its stunning scenery, but also for its waves:
Right on your doorstep! The further you walk along the bay, the smaller & gentler the waves get – ideal for beginners. In the middle of the bay, near the large rock formation, you’ll often find locals & pros surfing.
A beautiful beach just a few minutes away by car. With westerly winds, it’s a great sheltered spot. This is where you’ll experience the authentic Northern Spain surf vibe!
Just a short ferry ride from the camp, Santander awaits – one of the most beautiful cities in Northern Spain. The capital of Cantabria is located right across the bay from Loredo Beach and has everything you need for a great day trip:

Boat Party: The ultimate sundowner! Hop aboard the party boat and cruise across the Bay of Santander. Turn up the music, grab a drink and dance in the golden evening sun. Unforgettable!
You can also enjoy laid-back evenings at our Wine & Cheese Night or head over to Somo.
Night Out in Somo: Just a 10-minute walk away – you’ll find cool burger spots, laid-back beach bars and small clubs. Perfect if you’re still in the mood for some nightlife after sunset.
Wine & Cheese Night: The perfect way to settle in and meet new people. Chilled beats, local specialities and relaxed conversations – a great way to start the week.

There’s always something going on at Surf Camp Loredo – whether you’re skating the pump track right next to the camp, testing your balance on the slackline or working up a sweat with other camp guests playing beach volleyball.
You can also use plenty of sports and games equipment free of charge at the camp: longboards, skateboards, beach games, footballs and frisbees. There’s also a table tennis table for some relaxed games in the afternoon.
If you prefer to take it easy, simply chill in a hammock in the garden or enjoy the views over Loredo from our viewing platform. And if you’re looking for some extra balance after surfing, you can book optional yoga sessions on site or join our creative afternoon, where we paint together.
At Surf Camp Loredo, a generous breakfast buffet awaits you every morning – with fresh bread, a variety of spreads, cereals, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. Everything you need to fuel up for a day of surfing!
On three evenings per week, you can join our optional Special Dinner. Enjoy dinner together outside in the garden – a delicious meal and a cold drink are included. Almost everyone at the camp joins in, making it the perfect opportunity to meet new people.
A shared fridge is available at the surf camp, and you can grab snacks and cold drinks from the bar at any time.

You’ll receive the contact details by email after booking. Simply get in touch with the camp management to find out where it’s best to park.
Paid parking is available directly in front of the surf camp – perfect for easy access. You’ll also find free public parking just a few minutes’ walk away.
Santander Airport is the closest airport to Surf Camp Loredo. Alternatively, you can fly to Bilbao. From both airports, you can continue to Loredo by taxi or public transport. Getting there from Santander is particularly easy: from there, you can reach Loredo in a short time by bus or by taking the ferry via Somo.
