The Surf House Caparica is ideal for a surfing holiday in which you want to combine sport, lifestyle and the Portuguese attitude to life! There are numerous surf spots just 150 m away. The many moles ensure a large selection of waves, so that there are always a few nice peaks to be found.
At our bar you can have a nightcap in the evening and if you feel like partying, you can reach Lisbon in about 20 minutes by car or in half an hour by bus and ferry. For optimal relaxation, we set up a rich, healthy breakfast buffet for you every morning, which leaves nothing to be desired. Relax your body and mind with yoga with a view of the sea. So that you can discover the area stress-free, we are happy to organize transfers for you to Lisbon.

Market halls, shops and supermarkets are also easily accessible on foot. You can also sit comfortably with the other guests in our in-house outdoor bar.
The endless coast of Caparica offers 13 km of sandy beaches and plenty of surf spots. The long promenade is only 150 meters away from the Surf House and, with its many moles, provides a variety of beautiful waves. If you want to see Lisbon, you can go by bus and ferry, or by car. In just 20 minutes you are in the city of the 7 hills, which impresses with its tiled historic buildings, numerous sights, trendy restaurants, bars and vibrant nightlife.

Surf House Caparica is located directly on the house beach Paraíso and CDS and offers ideal waves for every surfing level. In addition, there is everything you could wish for in terms of surfing in the area around Lisbon: from beach breaks to point breaks, the right spot can be found for every surfing level.
A trip north to the Ericeira or Peniche area by car is worthwhile and offers variety. Depending on the forecast, there are many ways to find the perfect spot. With water temperatures of 17°C to 20°C in summer, a 3/2 mm Neo is sufficient in the high season and a 4/3 mm for the rest of the year.

Program
Surfhouse Caparica: own yoga room with sea view
The perfect complement to surfing! In addition to the surf course, the team also organizes yoga for you. Yoga is the ideal stretching program for surfers, improves your balance and trains your deep muscles.
The yoga sessions each last 1 hour and take place in the yoga room, on the beach or in the garden. Always in the morning or evening when the sun is already lower. Classes are Monday through Friday each week.
3 yoga sessions included and each additional session costs: 10 €
Cross training with a coach
Cross training is a fitness method that combines strength and conditioning elements. It includes bodyweight exercises combined with sprinting, weightlifting, boxing, and training with dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, and more.
At Surfhouse Caparica, we offer this training method twice a week with a professional fitness coach!
Outdoor Gym: If you prefer to train on your own or more frequently, you’ll have access to all the features of our gym at any time: weight bench, dumbbells, kettlebells, battle rope, sandbags, training mats, and much more.
Includes 2x cross training sessions with a coach per week.

If you have your skateboard with you, you can benefit from the freshly poured floor in the courtyard of the new Surf House Caparica and practice your tricks. There are also some skateboards on site that you can simply take.
SUP & surfboards
The surf school not only has many surfboard shapes, but also body and stand-up paddle boards. If you are interested, guided surf trips to other beaches in the area, such as Peniche, Nazaré or Lisbon, are also offered.

An airport shuttle picks you up from the airport in Lisbon for only 40 € per way and car (e.g.: 2 people 17.50 € each) and takes you directly to the Surf House Caparica.
Public transportation
From the airport in Lisbon you can take the red metro line to the Alameda station and change there. From there, you can take the green line to the Praça Areeiro bus station. Here you can take the 161 bus to Costa da Caparica (Mercado). And from there you can walk to Surf House Caparica in 10 minutes.
Or you can take the Aerobus from the airport to the Cais do Sodré ferry station. From there you can take the ferry across the Tejo River to Cacilhas in 7 minutes. From there, take the 135 bus to Costa da Caparica and get off at the Mercado. And from there you can walk to Surf House Caparica in 7 minutes.
