Just outside your door, several top-notch semi-beach breaks are waiting for you — perfect for beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers. Only a few minutes on foot and you’re at Echo Beach and Pererenan, where world-class reef and beach breaks roll in.
Away from the busy traffic, the area around Canggu lets you soak up pure Bali vibes: rice fields, sunsets, traditional architecture, and a laid-back lifestyle that lives by the motto: Eat–Surf–Sleep–Repeat.
Canggu
Canggu is Bali’s laid-back hotspot, where surf vibes meet stylish, hipster life. Between trendy cafés, boutiques, and street art, you’ll find some of the island’s best surf spots – from mellow beach breaks to challenging reef breaks. Start your morning with yoga, surf during the day, and unwind at sunset in a rooftop bar. In Canggu, lifestyle, sport, and tropical vibes come together in a unique mix.
The Island of Bali
Known as the Island of the Gods and Temples, Bali is by far Indonesia’s most famous island. It’s no wonder Bali is considered one of the world’s most beautiful tropical destinations, attracting surfers since the 1970s. Here you’ll find beaches, waves, and the sea, along with vibrant cities and lively parties. A visit to the Monkey Forest, the artsy town of Ubud, or one of the island’s many temples is a must.

Tanah Lot
A must-see in Bali, Tanah Lot Temple is only about 12 km away. Perched on a rock in the middle of the waves, the temple is especially stunning from the outside. A great tip is to visit at sunset, watch the last surfers riding the waves, and admire the sky turning orange and red as the sun sinks into the ocean. This daily spectacle can also be enjoyed just a few minutes’ walk from the surf camp at Old Man’s Beach or Ecco Beach.
Warung
Don’t miss the fish BBQ at Ecco Beach restaurant or one of the local warungs (traditional Indonesian eateries) near the camp. Enjoy rice with your choice of side dishes for just a few euros, paired with a fresh tropical fruit shake – a delicious, authentic Bali experience!
Dorm Rooms
The dorm rooms feature high-quality wooden sleeping pods, offering privacy and comfort – perfect for unwinding after a long day of surfing. Air conditioning ensures restful nights.
The modern bathroom is directly attached, with gentle lines and a Balinese wellness vibe. From the balcony, you have direct access to the surf house’s tropical garden – ideal for starting your day with a coffee or ending it with a cool drink.
Standard Twin/Double Rooms
The Standard Twin/Double Rooms are located on the first floor of the main building and offer a beautiful view of the pool. All rooms come with air conditioning and a private bathroom.
High-quality mattresses and stylishly crafted wooden beds ensure a restful sleep. Thoughtful details such as Balinese lamps, Boho décor, and natural materials make the Standard Double Rooms a cozy retreat.
The seating area on the small terrace in front of each room is the perfect spot to read or relax between surf sessions.

During a 7-day stay, you get 5 surf lessons for only €79. The numerous beach breaks right in front of our camp (e.g., HalfWay, Padma, KuDeTa, DoubleSix) are perfect for beginners to learn how to surf. Here, you’ll catch your first green waves and perfect your take-off. These spots are considered world-class beach breaks, and even experienced surfers can still enjoy perfect rides here.
Equipment included.
The equipment pool is perfectly adapted to the local conditions: shortboards from 6’0’’ to 7’0’’, fun shapes, and mini-malibus from 7’0’’ to 8’0’’ for our beginners.
We have a surfboard for every level and all conditions. If you don’t mind transporting your own gear, you can bring your own board to really get the most out of it. Boardshorts, leashes, booties, footpads, and wax are available on site.
Leashes and rashguards are included in the surfboard rental price, but any repairs needed for the board must be covered by the user.
