In our surf lessons, you’ll learn safety, surfing – and most importantly, how to have fun.

With our proven teaching concept, we’ll get you standing on your surfboard in no time! From surf theory on the beach to your first glide in the whitewater and eventually your first green wave in the lineup – our lessons are designed for fast, safe progress. While safety is a top priority, our instructors make sure there’s plenty of fun in every session.

Each lesson builds on the previous day. You’ll face new challenges, learn faster than you think, and experience the unmatched freedom that surfing brings. Along the way, you’ll get familiar with handling your equipment, reading the ocean, and improving your board control and technique – all guided by certified instructors.

Beginner Surf Lesson

Mastering the take-off is one of the key elements in every surf lesson

If you’ve never surfed before, our beginner surf courses are the perfect place to start. You’ll learn step by step:

  • Safety Intro: Get fitted with your wetsuit and soft-top board. Learn the rules – how to carry your board, protect your head, keep distance, and use the leash.
  • Theory Sessions: Cover surf conditions, etiquette, tides, hazards, wave types, and weather.
  • Warm-Up: Activate muscles, prevent injuries, and get ready for the water.
  • Gliding & Paddling: Learn how to position yourself on the board, paddle effectively, and glide through whitewater.
  • Take-Off & Riding: Master standing up on the board, your stance, balance, and direction.
  • Green Waves & Duck Diving: When you're ready, head to the lineup and learn how to catch unbroken waves and dive through them.

Intermediate & Advanced Surf Lessons - Take Your Surfing to the Next Level

Already surfing green waves and know your way around the lineup? Time to level up:

  • Refine key maneuvers like the bottom turn, top turn, and cutback.
  • Learn how to choose the right wave and read the ocean better.
  • Improve paddling and take-off technique.
  • Develop personal style, speed control, and flow.
  • Gain deeper knowledge of board shapes and surf theory.

At the beginning of each course, instructors assess your skill level and tailor the coaching to your needs.

Softboards for Beginners

We use soft-top boards in beginner lessons because they offer maximum safety, buoyancy, and stability – ideal for rapid learning. A wider, thicker board provides more float and helps you get the feel for surfing quickly. Think of it as training wheels for wave riding.

Boards for Intermediates

As you progress, you’ll have access to a range of board types in different shapes and sizes – selected to match your skill and the conditions.

Essential Gear for Your Surf Lesson

  • Leash: Keeps your board attached to you after a wipeout.
  • Wetsuit: Keeps you warm, protects your skin, and allows flexibility – thickness varies depending on location and season.
  • Surf Poncho: Optional, but great for changing and warming up after your session.

All equipment is included in your surf course and professionally maintained.
