20 years ago, we first stood barefoot in the sand of Moliets. Boards under our arms, sunburn on our faces, and the feeling that something was just beginning. Two decades later, a lot has stayed the same: the wind in the evening, the Atlantic in the morning, that special light just before sunset.
That’s why this year is something special: The only 24+ surf camp at Les Cigales – this place has never been just a campsite for us. It’s our home in Moliets, and this is where we’ll spend an epic surf summer 2026 with you!
Our surf camp is ideal for anyone looking for a balanced mix of surfing & fitness, good food and comfort. If you’re up for going out, you’ll find popular surfer bars along the promenade.
At the 24+ Surf Camp Moliets, you can perfectly push your surf level with an 11.5-hour surf course. We offer courses for beginners as well as advanced surfers. Not only the surf training meets professional standards. For additional variety, you can also train independently in our outdoor gym, which is available to you 24/7. Here, you can work on your fitness and core balance using bodyweight, medicine balls, battle ropes and more. The pine forest along the Courant d'Huchet river is also perfect for jogging or cycling.
Great food is a given at the 24+ Surf Camp – a balanced breakfast (with the option to prepare your own packed lunch for the day) and a varied dinner are included in the price. Two of our culinary highlights are the wine & cheese evening with local specialties and the Mexican BBQ night. Of course, equally delicious vegetarian and vegan options are always available. If you’re in the mood for going out, the promenade with its many restaurants and surfer bars is the place to be. We also offer an excursion to San Sebastián in the heart of the Basque Country, where you can explore the city’s vibrant bar scene.
Moliets Plage: As the name “Plage” suggests, Moliets is located right on the endless sandy beaches of the South Atlantic coast of France. Lush pine forests and the river mouth forming a lagoon shape the typical landscape of this surf town.
The town is centered around its large promenade, lined with countless restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets and surfer bars. Whether you’re chasing sports and surf or just want to enjoy great food and drinks, Moliets offers plenty of options.
Culinary spots on the promenade: You definitely shouldn’t miss an evening at the popular restaurant Cave aux Moules! We recommend reserving a table in advance or lining up about 30 minutes before opening in the evening. To round off your meal, grab some ice cream or crêpes and kick off the night at the legendary surfer bar L'Open.
Sunset spots: From the lifeguard tower, you’ll get one of the best views of the sunset. The beach access near the mouth of the Courant d'Huchet river can also deliver some truly spectacular light shows.
Explore nature: Take your time and discover the beautiful landscape of Moliets Plage. Both the pine forest and the nearby Étang de Moliets lake are perfect for cycling or jogging, and the river is ideal for a SUP tour.

Our camp manager Ole has been part of the crew for over 8 years and knows Moliets Plage like the back of his hand. He takes care of the camp operations, gets you on your board, and keeps the good vibes going.
Adrian
As head surf coach, Ada has taught countless guests how to surf. He brings loads of motivation and humor to every session and is an exceptional longboarder. Beyond great surf lessons in the water, he also delivers the most entertaining theory sessions.

The 2-bedroom mobile homes feature: 2 bedrooms (double bed, 2x single beds), a living area with fridge, a bathroom and a cozy veranda. You can either book a single room in the mobile home (solo or for two). Or you can book the entire mobile home for private use for a group of 4, 3 or 2 people.
We also offer 2 smaller 2-person mobile homes, each with one large double bedroom (double bed), a living area with fridge, bathroom and veranda.
Bed linen, cutlery & dishes are provided. Please bring your own towels. Check-in from 4 pm.
Premium tents – a true camping experience! Our custom-made safari tents offer the perfect balance of nature and comfort. Enjoy real outdoor vibes without giving up convenience: the tents for 2 people come equipped with a cozy wooden bed, power outlet and lighting – your perfect retreat!
Please bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and pillow, as well as dishes, cutlery and towels.
The bungalows are a great alternative for anyone who wants a proper bed and a solid accommodation option without missing out on the surf camp atmosphere. There are 2 bunk beds and enough space for your luggage. In the evening, you can hang out together on the veranda or escape the midday heat.
The bungalows can be booked for 2, 3 or 4 people.
They come with lighting, electricity and beds incl. blankets and pillows, and all feature a covered veranda.

As an official partner of Quiksilver, we offer you top-level courses in Moliets Plage. Our surf instructors have the latest and internationally valid licenses from the ISA (International Surfing Association) and they are all qualified lifeguards. The surf instructor team has been working together successfully for many years and some instructors even have international competition experience.
A new teaching concept with individual support in small groups (max. 8 people) and the best possible material ensure absolute fun in the water. Nobody is over or underchallenged here and can choose the perfect course depending on their physical fitness. We offer beginner courses for anyone who has never surfed before, advanced and advanced courses and also intensive coaching, where you will be taught by German master Adrian Siebert, for example.
Free surfing: Of course you can also go surfing outside of the full course times if conditions permit. This only applies after prior agreement with the surf instructors from Monday. We ask for your understanding that we cannot guarantee you free surfing. Our team is always available to help you with advice and support when it comes to surfing and ensure fun and safety!
The classification of skill levels takes place on site together with the surf instructors.

Tobi
Growing up in South Africa's surfing Mecca Jeffreys Bay, our surfing instructor, Tobi Schröder, was practically born with surfing. Since Tobi now lives in Germany, he uses the summer to teach you how to surf on the French Atlantic.
Carlo
He comes from Pisa and grew up in the best Mediterranean spots in Italy. He is not only a passionate surf instructor, but also a rugby coach, fitness trainer and hobby comedian.
Alex
You are in the best of hands with our surf instructor, multiple German champion Alex Tesch. It's not for nothing that he's also called Technik-Axel! With him you will learn the take-off to perfection.
Ole
The second Ole in the surf camp has been there for many years and brings surfing beginners onto the board every year! Of course you can also learn new tricks with him and improve your style. The North German surfer ensures a good mood and fast learning progress.
Jasper
He has spent the last 3 years on the Gold Coast in Australia. Before that he lived in the Canary Islands for 3 years. This summer he has returned to mainland Europe to support our surf team in Moliets.
Not all surf camps are created equal, which is why we meet precisely defined quality requirements. Specially trained surf instructors, the highest safety standards and top training material are some of the requirements that our surf camp meets.
We follow international standards and the surf instructors are all ISA certified (International Surfing Association). The surf instructors and our friendly team are also there for you after the courses! This is where our surf camps differ from other surf camps. Here you are guaranteed 100% fun and success when you learn to surf. This is what a surfing holiday should be like!
The perfect balance to surfing is yoga! Yoga stretches your muscles and builds strength at the same time. Yoga also has a cleansing effect for the body, mind and soul. We offer you courses every week that you are welcome to join spontaneously. The yoga sessions take place in our own camp.
Cross training is offered to you as a completely new addition to the program. You can attend three sessions per week. Cross training aims to create fitness in as many different areas of the body and muscles as possible. This means that many sports are combined or crossed with each other. The constantly varying functional movements are carried out with high intensity. This creates a good mix of strength and endurance.
No matter whether you have never tried this type of fitness before or have been doing it for a long time. Your cross training coach will give you a lot or little weight, many or few repetitions. This means that a group of participants with very different builds can train together and at the same time.
Pushing and motivating each other is definitely part of this sport and gives you a very good feeling that you can achieve your sporting goals together.
Our 24+ surf camp Moliets has an outdoor gym. In our fitness area you will find everything you need to prepare your body perfectly for surfing and to stay in shape even on holiday. The equipment includes a training cage with pull-up bars, battle ropes, a barbell with a weight bench, various dumbbells, terra bands, sling trainers, gymnastic rings and much more. It doesn't matter whether you work on your body alone or do circle training in a group. You'll definitely work up a sweat here!
A city trip to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Beach, urban city life, Basque culture and an incredible party atmosphere! San Sebastian is a city like no other! The Rio of Spain mixes surfing and Basque culture in a very special way. This makes this excursion an experience that you will remember for a long time. Pinchos typical of the region and the vibrant nightlife in the old town make this evening a HIGHLIGHT of the week.

Breakfast & packed lunch: we offer a large, healthy breakfast selection that will definitely exceed your expectations of a typical camping holiday! Fresh fruit, muesli, fresh baguette, croissants, hummus, a cheese and cold cuts selection, as well as yogurt give you all the energy you need to start your day right. Coffee, tea & water are included. You can also prepare your own packed lunch for the beach during breakfast!
Dinner: every day you can enjoy a salad buffet and a warm, balanced meal served buffet-style – freshly prepared by our caterer. We also host a Mexican BBQ night.

Own arrival by car via Paris to Bordeaux, then south towards Bayonne. From the A63, take the Vielle Saint Girons/ Moliets-et-Maa/ Léon /Castets exit and follow the signs for Moliets. Arrival and departure is always on Saturdays!
If you still have space in your car, then offer your trip to Moliets as a ride!
Another way to travel to France is by train. Here you can book well in advance and you shouldn't be too late, as you definitely need a reservation on the TGV (French ICE). Many of the tickets can only be booked through a travel agency. If in doubt, contact a DB booking center and get advice.
The destination station in France is DAX - many trains go via Paris.

Direct flights from Germany are usually quite expensive, but there is the possibility to book a cheap flight to London with Ryanair or Ryanair, for example. From London you can then take a connecting flight to Biarritz. From Switzerland you can fly cheaply from Geneva or Basel to Bordeaux with Ryanair and with Darwin Airlines from Geneva to Bordeaux and Biarritz. Payment: The down payment of 20% of the travel price is payable immediately and to be transferred to our account stating the invoice number, plus any immediately payable services, such as insurance, processing fees or stop and airport surcharges. The balance is to be transferred no later than 30 days before departure also under indication of the invoice number on our account. For bookings less than 4 weeks before departure, the entire amount is due immediately and send a screenshot of the transfer by e-mail to us to avoid reminder fees.
